Our aim is to improve living standards of local female artisans in Ghana and Kenya through increasing awareness and usage of ethically produced bags and baskets

Weaving as an art, has been in existence for centuries. Women in rural Ghana and Kenya still use these techniques today to make bags and baskets for the modern day woman. However, their livelihood is not greatly impacted because mass production is not possible and public awareness of this craft is limited. At Nokupa, we aim to change this narrative and help bring awareness of this beautiful work.
